This division is for people who want to come and join our community and participate through on-skates officiating.
You must have basic skating skills as this membership does not include skating training. We will teach you how to officiate Roller Derby at no cost. If you're unsure how to skate, or want to improve your confidence, join our Skate Fit classes
This division is for people who want to come and join our community, but are either not quite ready to get on-skates, or prefer to officiate sporting activities.
People registering as On-Skates Officials will be required to:
- Pay VRDL's Annual Membership Fee (AMF) of $30 / year to join VRDL.
- Pay Roller Derby Insurance of $120 for the calendar year - This provides insurance coverage on skates as an official at any event up to national level.
- There is no ongoing monthly cost for On-Skates officials.
